Nice and shady park in the middle of lock haven. A few pavilions, semi clean bathrooms, a basketball court, and a baseball field. Also has many parking spaces below and above it.
Nice family oriented place with 2 separated sections based on age groups, and also includes handicapped equipment that allows children (and adults!) in wheelchairs to go on a swing without the parent or caregiver having risk injury to themselves or the patron. In the last few years they have added a little fenced in pet park area by the smaller kids play section and that’s been such a blessing for me. I can let my doggie run and play safely while being a few steps away from my “miss independent” 2 year old daughter while she tackles the playground at the same time.There’s also a full sized basketball court and baseball field available to use, two pavilion areas for parties and picnics, and some of the cleanest public, gender separated, bathrooms located on site as well.Its a wonderful community park and perfect for families of any size to come and enjoy!
Wonderful for birthday parties! Since the park was redone a few years ago, I have brought my kids up more. This park is also known as Grove Community Park.
My Grand Kids Love to play here and I love that they have places for adults to sit and also have a swing for adults
