Located at 120 W Woodschurch Rd, Deer Path Park is a top choice for dog owners seeking a dog park in Flemington, New Jersey. This spacious and beautifully maintained park features paved and gravel walking trails, expansive open fields, and serene fishing ponds—ideal for both dogs and their owners to explore and enjoy. The park is known for its pet-friendly trails, scenic views, and accessibility, making it a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike looking for dog-friendly hiking and outdoor fun.
Among its standout amenities are large parking lots with plenty of free parking, a modern inclusive playground for children, covered pavilions with picnic tables, and forested areas offering natural shade. While the park does not appear to have a dedicated fenced dog area, it does provide extensive space for on-leash walks and family outings. Visitors love the tranquil atmosphere, multiple walking paths, and the opportunity for fishing and relaxing by the pond. Please keep your dog on a leash and be mindful of muddy trails after rain and possible ticks in some areas.
lovely well maintained and rather new or recently refreshed park. brought my Grandsons there to play and picnic. Nice covered pavilion. Lots of parking. Nice open fields.

This park holds our most favorite summer concerts to date! The playground is phenomenal and safe for the children. Love this place so much! And plenty of parking too!
Hiking Trail Review
Round Mountain via Deer Path Park – 3.3 Miles
The parking lot is very large with plenty of room to park. The trail itself is very easy and scenic. You get views of farmland and woods and overall is very pretty. The trail itself is very wet and muddy. Parts of the trail is overgrown and loaded with thorns. There are also parts with large bunches of downed trees. I would definitely rate the trail higher if it was cleaned up a bit more and the conditions were better.

Great playground, fully renovated. Very clean. It would have been nice nice if it had walkway and bike path around the park

Multiple large parking lots with plenty of parking. There is a covered picnic area with a small playground. A playground is next to one of the parking lots with swings, slides, etc. There is a baseball diamond with bleachers. Next to the playground are a trashcan and a porta-potty. The park looks like it is still being developed.
Great playground for all ages. It is an inclusive playground meaning people with disabilities including in wheelchairs have numerous opportunities to play. There is a baby area, plenty to do for toddlers and a great climbing area for the older kids. It’s also gated and has poured in place surfacing. Overall a very nice playground. Glad to see this added to Flemington.
