FAQ for Off the Leash Dog Park in Fishers Indiana:
I came to this dog park not realizing that it’s a private park. I called the owner, like the sign says, to use it since we drove 25 minutes to get here. They didn’t answer. Very frustrating.
Looks like a good park! however, its not clear from the website that this is basically someones back yard. Called the number on the website and the voice mail was for a tree service. After driving by the property, that makes sense, if it weren’t so close to us, I would have given up on the location then and there. But we decided to drive over with our vaccination records and a credit card. (The website does not say “bring a check”). We realized there was no one there. Maybe someone was in the house, but I wasn’t about to knock on the door of a private residence. The park website says “To obtain a day pass/membership- Email or bring a current copy of your pet(s) immunization records and NULL to the park. Paperwork can be filled out upon arrival at the same time we can meet your pet.”It gives no times etc…. I’m sure the park is great, but its a hassle and the website needs to contain a lot more details. If you want to go here, get in contact with someone BEFORE you show up, even though the website suggests you can just show up, otherwise you’ve wasted a trip.
A hidden treasure for dogs. 2 sections (large/small) dogs but huge area to run with special agility course features. Also, dogs are well-vetted before allowed to join. A real canine find. 👍🏾
Fun place to bring your pup’s !
Great park. Competitive pricing for monthly membership. So much open space and even a separate area for small dogs or dogs that are very shy. Poop scoops conveniently placed throughout so you never have to worry about bringing bags or you or your pup stepping in a mess. The owner has two well trained spaniels that he’ll let out to play with any visiting dogs. Highly recommend for any dog owners in the area.
