Nice to have a rest area just for dogs. If you were hoping to find human facilities, sorry.
Very pretty area, some spots on the road are a little rough. Easy river access, but might be a little crowded during camping season
Great park and rest area. It offers a very nice and clean doggie park, so it is a perfect place if you travel with your pet. The only problem is lack of functioning restrooms.
Close to home. Nice fire pit and picnic tables. A fair amount of off road vehicle traffic, but very courteous. UPDATE new sign Day Use Only, No Camping, No Fires. ( I guess they’ll be taking out all the fire rings that they have at each picnic area)
Close to the Snake River with simple boat access.I’m disappointed motorized vehicles are no longer allowed off road opposite the picnic area on the other side of the pedestrian path.I’m also very disappointed camping is no longer permitted either. They used to have a 3 day limit.
Nice park with fenced in dog area. Just what our dogs needed to burn some energy off before traveling more. It was relatively clean. Only complaint is gate on opposite side of entrance was held shut by a weak piece of rope. We had some tape and secured it for our dogs.
Nice place for an evening walk.
Totally unexpected lovely little dog enclosure which was so great for letting dogs off leash and not being concerned about them. There were picnic tables there too – we made dinner on our little camp stove and enjoyed the trains going by and the distant sunset. My dogs loved the green grass! So nice after straight desert as far as the eye can see 😁
