I like the dog park because it is enclosed and it has water and benches. What I do not like is many of the dispensers for dog 💩 bags were empty, there was a lot of dog 🐕 poop around the area (I guess people don’t like to clean up after their dog’s), and there are still a lot of the goat weeds and when my dog stepped on it HURTS LIKE CRAZY. It would be really nice if there was grass instead of goat weeds, also there are a few areas around the fencing that have holes dug under the fence . I will contact the City of Fillmore and make a request for someone to 1. Clean it, 2. Refill the 💩 bags,3. Fill in the holes around the fence and last but definitely not the least Put something dog friendly for ground cover. I am confident that one day the Fillmore 🐕🐶🐕🐶 🏞️🌄🏞️ will be the perfect place to bring our fur babies….It is in a good place and I am sure there would be more people bringing their dogs if it was a little more dog friendly – especially the goat weeds they are so painful and there shouldn’t be anything like that in a place where a dog is running around.

No one and no dogs were there except a homeless person. Did not feel safe as I was alone with my two year old.. it’s also just a dusty lot with a fence around it. Very eerie and very depressing. I was so bummed because it’s so close to where I live and I would come here so much if it was better, inviting, and prettier!
