Located at 1343 W Thompson Rd, the Thompson Road Regional Dog Park offers a welcoming and well-maintained space for local dog lovers. This pet-friendly park boasts separate areas for small and large dogs, providing safe off-leash fun while catering to different breeds and energy levels. The entire park is securely fenced, making it a top choice for anyone searching for a dog park in Fenton, Michigan that prioritizes safety and community vibes.
The park includes features such as shady trees, benches, and accessible parking right outside the gate. There’s even a water pump for thirsty pups and seating in the shade for owners to relax and socialize. The area is wheelchair accessible, supports fun dog birthday get-togethers, and has agility obstacles to keep active dogs engaging and enriched. If you’re looking for dog-friendly hiking or wide-open spaces for your dog to run, this spot is a local favorite.
First time EVER at a dog park and it was so cool!! Small and large dog side, safe, fenced etc. Absolutely loved meeting my friend up there with 1 (we have 3 lol) of our dogs. A couple of benches in the shade for the “human” visitors made it nice to chat while dogs played too. Will most likely go back at some point with all 3 of our pups!
Only dog park that I go to every day! If you’re looking to get your dog’s energy out. Lots of room to run plus wood trails to explore.( no woods to explore bc of people running there mouths) no pools either switch is why I barely go anymore.)
Everyone is very welcoming. Clean and a bench to sit on. Water available for the pups.
We were visiting friends and passed this park as we were driving into the area where we were staying. Joey had such a great time. Lots of room to run on both sides for small or big pups. There was a water pump on the outside of the gate. That was kinda cool, I never pumped my own water before🤣. There was a kickball size ball that I kicked, that wasn’t a good idea because it was a very hard plastic, and I jammed my big toe. Parking was right outside the gate. There were obstacle courses. Park benches and shady trees. Grass was all around except where the dogs mostly played. It was a great find.
We are doodle owners of a common litter and we just celebrated their third birthday at Thompson Road! We look forward to October every year to get the puppies together!
