FAQ for Butternut Creek Trail in Fayetteville New York:
When I read it was 1.6 miles I thought it was in a loop but it’s really about 0.8 miles end to end. And the smaller inner loop wooden plank trail isn’t complete so you have to turn back around to the main trail.
Really nice except for the dead end after you’ve already walked way down this one side trail. Town needs to address this, put up a sign or fix the rest of the path.Could also use a repaving, there’s parts that are a little rough on road bikes without shocks, places where nearby roots are disrupting the pavement.
