Campground is nice with well spaced spots, close to the lake, and large trees for shade but only 1 bath house that’s not really conveniently located and the pads could use some work. Many pads aren’t level, some don’t have fire rings, asphalt is breaking off the sides of pads, etc. 3 washers and 2 dryers. On a really nice lake with great fishing if you have a boat. Camp hosts do a good job keeping it clean even though they shouldn’t have to pick up after campers. Would be great if the state would spend some money on repairs to sites that are damaged.

I brought 3 young boys and my teenage son. Pool was nice and water was cool it wasn’t crowded. The rules are a little strict (only allow bottle water and no toys) but I’m sure it cuts down on the place getting trashed. They do need to implement a dress code there were a couple of girls in thong bikinis. I’m fine for a bikini but cover at least half your bottom.

We have been here several times to stay in the cabins in the fall. It’s always beautiful. This time there was an extended “draw down” on the lake to clean up invasive species and such I guess. Maybe combined with a lack of rain? It was still eerily beautiful.
