A peaceful way to get some steps in. Beautiful and quiet, we enjoyed hiking the trail that leads you around the circumference of the island so that you’re constantly getting the coastal breeze. I also really loved seeing the fairy houses 🙂
Had a great hike here! Parking is limited, so come early! Beautiful views and people were swimming. There are a few picnic tables around the parking area and benches along the trail. Spent about 1.5 hours strolling around the island.
Nice and short trail around the Island. Took us about 30minutes (1.4mi loop). Beach access is mostly limited to the entrance area, but there is a small beach you can go down to on the opposite side.
Gorgeous park to walk around at! Parking can be tough to find and sometimes impossible, I tried to come here a few weeks before and had to turn away because it was full. There is a walking trail that loops around the whole island and it’s full of beautiful views, 10/10 would recommend!
Very nice views all the way around the loop. There are a few shore accesses too. Nice to go down near the water to look for sea glass and rocks. Trail is easy to walk, some muddy areas after rain. Great place for family walks and exploring.
