Reckord Road Park in Fallston, MD, is a local favorite for families and pet owners seeking open, grassy spaces and dog-friendly activities. With ample fields, well-kept baseball and softball diamonds, and a volleyball court, there’s plenty of room for your dog to run and play. While not specifically set up as a dedicated fenced dog park, the park’s large open spaces make it an inviting spot for on-leash walks and letting friendly pups socialize under watchful supervision.
Pet owners appreciate the park’s cleanliness, ample parking, and onsite restrooms—making it easily accessible for long visits and weekend outings. Although the park is best known for its rec league fields and space for local sports events, the park’s relaxed atmosphere and expansive grounds provide a dog-friendly haven for the Fallston community. Reckord Road Park is especially appealing for those looking for pet-friendly parks in Harford County with lots of recreational opportunities for children and adults alike.
This was Spring of 2020. I was alone. I went and walked the parameter of the park which isn’t much of a walking park as far as trails, NOT. I strolled along the edge and saw backyards and the blooming Red Bud is my favorite. Sometimes I would be able to talk to friends as they walked somewhere I was not allowed to go, We Grocery shopped maybe but no ones house or public place, regular stores closed . We did not see anybody for weeks. That turned onto months for most.
Clean, well maintained, and has ample parking most days. There is a volleyball ball court, several soccer fields, baseball/softball fields too. Lots of open space for walking and relaxing too.
Nice spacious park with good grass fields and three Little League diamonds for rec league tournaments.
My son has baseball tournaments here a lot and it’s a nice little set of fields. It’s bigger than it looks from the road as it goes far back so even though it was packed and every field was being used, we felt like the only field there because of how spread out they are. Very clean and they have restrooms which is a huge plus since 6-10 hour days can feel even longer when you have to keep leaving to find the nearest gas station 😆
Beautiful park with tons of space. The volleyball court is well maintained and the kids love playing in it.
