Great little shaded park that’s perfect for a picnic! Tables, playground, volleyball, basketball and tennis. Great big and super tall Poplar trees and Black Walnut. Enter by car by way of Little Falls Street and go behind the City Hall and the Parks and Recreation Dept. buildings. When you exit you will be on Park Avenue. This was a little confusing at first.

We really enjoy taking our kids here — anything to let the toddler burn off as much energy as possible. There is so much to do there that the kids don’t really get bored, which is a great cure for Cabin Fever on a nice Spring day. There are places you can rent as well — the small pavilion rents for NULL an hour (if you’re a FC resident, NULL/hr if not), and the large barn-style one rents for NULL/hr. The big one requires getting a permit through ABC though 🙄 There’s a large field that is great for soccer or football, and a sand pit with a net for volleyball or badminton. It’s free to get in, and a great way to spend an afternoon.
