Jose Silva Dog Park is a welcoming, grassy green space conveniently located at Locust St & N Quarry St in Fall River, MA. This dog park offers a peaceful spot for local dogs and their owners to enjoy safe, off-leash playtime. Nestled in a quiet area, it’s an excellent escape to relax while your dog socializes and burns off energy. Jose Silva Dog Park stands out as one of the few areas in Fall River where your pups can enjoy room to roam within a secure, fenced environment.
Pet owners appreciate the separate sections for small and large dogs, which help keep pups safe and comfortable. There are benches for owner seating, some shade, and open fields perfect for games and tricks. The park is wheelchair accessible, dog-friendly, and offers easy street parking. While the park could use a bit more TLC from the city, regular visitors have filled minor gaps in the fencing, demonstrating the caring community spirit of Fall River dog lovers.
Fun dog park. Just bring a bag for poop
Of all the dog parks I’ve been to over the decades, this one has the meanest dogs and nastiest people. Stay away!
It’s a good place to go. It’s quiet. Nobody bothers you open field just to sit and chill.
I like it, sectioned off by size. So you don’t have big dogs on same side as the Lil ones…they have a few toys if you’d like to try some trick with your dog…nice !!!
Nice, grassy dog park in Fall River. Street parking.
Needs a little TLC from the city. The fenceline between small dog and all dog has gaps under it that have been filled by park goers.
Benches were repurposed from older projects by the city.
I did notice that many regulars seemed to ignore the small dog restriction, bringing their larger dogs on that side.
Large dog side needs a bit more shade.
