I was a little nervous about boarding my two whippets for a few days. They’d never been boarded anywhere except at our vet clinic and I didn’t know how they would react. But the reviews were great, my vet recommended them, and they were even close to home. When I picked them up, the girls were happy, in good weight, and had had a ball! The facility is beautiful, the owners are caring and dedicated, and they obviously love and know dogs. We will definitely be back, and if it were up to Wendy and Poppet, that would probably be tomorrow! Could not recommend more highly!
This is the best boarding kennel I have ever used. The owners are very Hands-On with the facility and the dogs. They take exceptional care of all the dogs in the kennel which is a beautiful farm in Fairfield. The dogs are given plenty of exercise in the ample pastures which have dog fencing and are supervised. You and your pups will love this home away from home.
Wellspring Farm was wonderful for our pup Zoe. We needed a place for her for half the day so that we could take our kids to the safari park. She had so much fun playing with the other dogs and was worn out when we picked her back up. Rick was so welcoming and the farm is beautiful. The kennel area was neat and clean and the dogs have such a great area to play. I would highly recommend Wellspring Farm to anyone with boarding needs!

Wellspring Farm is a dog boarding and fostering kennel nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia. The yards are all fenced in and well maintained for the dogs. They have lots of safe space to run and play. The kennels are excellent; very clean, no bad smells, and no messy kennels. Each dog has their own kennel or bonded dogs can be in a stall together. We rescued a young English pointer mix pup from Bath Animal Rescue who was fostered at Wellspring Farm. He is clean, very healthy weight, been on flea and tick treatment, heartworm prevention, trimmed nails, bathed, and is house trained. He has never messed in our car or our house and has settled in beautifully to our home. I give a lot of credit to Rick for the amazing work he does for these dogs and the high levels of care he provides for them. Highly recommend boarding or adopting from Wellspring Farm.
We love Wellspring Kennel. We just picked up our dog from a weeklong stay. She was well cared for by friendly and knowledgeable staff. They make sure all dogs are properly vaccinated. Our dog loves to go, she jumps right out of the car and runs to the owners. The kennels are well cared for and the dogs get play time in the grassy paddocks. Truly a great place.
