The state did a great job restoring this area and making it look nice. Clear Creek County does not maintain it there’s dog poop everywhere the bathrooms are completely full of human waste their needle bottles laying around in the bathroom and there’s trash all over. It would be nice if this place was maintained better.

Pretty cool trail if you haven’t done it before. Seems like the main hiking trail in the area. There’s a big loop that goes around the mountain and then a few trails to get to the top.

We crossed the bridge and then made a right. That trail follows the (?) North fork of the Clear Creek and then winds up the mountain through a series of switch backs. There are a fair number of bikers on the trail so you will be moving over them fairly often. We turned around at the aspen meadow

Great stop and beautiful scenery.

This stop has a great view of the bridge, the Belt Buckle of the Mineral Belt information was really neat to learn but someone please for the sake of anyone using this rest stop for fly fishing put in some real toilets or at least get someone to clean the stop more regularly.

Parking, restroom, and a good biking trail. A pretty bridge built in the memory of a local kid, a good stop for a little fishing too as the creek is right there with good access
