This venue is amazing!! The views are breath taking and fabulous with the mountians & ponds all around! It was so exciting to see Elk wandering through the grounds at dusk and dark!
Fun with family not to many fishing spots tha walk around the lake amazing
I grew up walking with my family around this lake and also skated on the ice in the winter. I was even around when you could still use the old lake house route to complete the loop. This place has jaw dropping beauty and the walk isn’t challenging or rough. You never know what your going to run into on this walk. From all kinds of birds, elk herds, deer, otters and fish jumping it’s just a masterpiece. The trails are always clean never ridden with trash or vandalism like down in Denver. This is a special place and if your ever lucky enough to visit it treat it with respect and enjoy the beauty it has to offer kindly! But be fascinated by how absolutely amazing it is!
A wonderful lake and fairly short hike around it, less than 2 miles. Just plainly beautiful views. More restaurants and small diners around than you may think. Several picnic tables, but also plenty of grass area to relax at. Kayaks and paddle boards for rent too.
