I had a very disappointing experience at this campground. The owner was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional throughout our stay. He entered our cabin without permission, told us we couldn’t start our vehicle after 10 PM, and stated we were not allowed to leave the campsite with it. He also followed me around at night and admitted to taking photos of our group, which was unsettling and inappropriate. Additionally, he used the storage shed attached to our cabin late at night, which was disruptive and inconsiderate. Overall, this was by far the worst campground experience I’ve had.

I’ve been to campgrounds all over PA and this one can’t be beat for cleanliness, hospitality, affordability and location. It’s also very quiet and relaxing! The camp store has everything you might forget plus Ritchey’s ice cream! I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years now and the new owners have done so many upgrades and made this place one of the best camping experiences money can buy! Thank you!

Who could ask for more? Excellent campground along the Juniata River with newly renovated cabins, and bathhouse. In addition, there’s a camp store with just about anything you could need. But most importantly, the owners/couple who own and operate the campground strive to make your camping experience an enjoyable one.

Stayed here a while ago now enjoying a long weekend with a friend after the Memorial Day holiday (finally able to get logged in to leave review). Stayed in the Spruce cabin. This place is a bit of a hidden gem located in a great outdoor recreation area. Very friendly/nice couple running the place….They were very helpful in explaining the river access & helping me when I lost my kayak lock keys. Great cabin for the cost & The cabin was very nice! Shower house/bathrooms VERY clean & very functional (might not be enough if this place was truly buzzing tho with only 2 bathroom/shower stall in the women’s side assuming same on men’s & a ‘shared’ option in the middle). Water was actually pleasantly warm in the showers!!! The lil store seemed to be well stocked with the essentials, the fun stuff & souvenirs. Great place hope to get back to stay someday again!
