Looking for a local spot to let your pup run and play? The Pup Park on Chelsea at 73 Chelsea St in Everett, Massachusetts, offers a convenient green space for your furry companion right in the heart of the city. This dog park features grass, trees, mulch, and sand, providing plenty of scents, textures, and opportunities for your dog to explore. Though the park is currently a temporary setup, it’s valued by the community—so increased usage could help make it a permanent fixture.
Visitors to The Pup Park on Chelsea appreciate its natural terrain and decent seating, making it a pleasant spot for owners as well. However, reviews note a need for better maintenance: please be prepared to clean up after your dog, as waste bags may not always be provided. The park is fenced, but owners of small, escape-prone dogs should remain vigilant, as some gaps exist in the singular gate. This urban dog park serves a much-needed purpose in Everett, and its success depends on responsible and active use by pet owners!
Its so awesome the city finally gave us a place to take our dogs!! But its temporary right now so if we want to keep it we have to USE IT!! So bring your pups. Its next to the JC Cafe/Store in Chelsea on corner of Cabot.
While it has trash no dog bags my dogs love it more than any park they have ever been too as it has grass trees mulch sand and lots to sniff. Very few dogs use this place
It’s a temporary dog park in the center of the City of Everett. Would be great if it became permanent and got some more features/improvements 🐾🐾🐾 If it gets more use/exposure, we can make it happen 🙂
We brought our dogs here this afternoon. To our disappointment the park has a strong smell from not picking up after their dogs. The park was covered with cigarette butts and garbage. It is the kind of park that had potential to be a safe fun place for us to bring our dogs. Please be aware if you bring your pup there watch out for poop piles!
It is a pretty nice park with good seating but BEWARE if you have a small dog with a flight risk. The singular gate isn’t that secure as it is, but there’s a decent sized gap between the gate and post. Any dog probably 30 pounds or less could surely fit through. There was also a few lighters and cigarettes on the ground I had to toss out? Like cmon people there’s trash cans both inside and directly outside this park. There’s definitely potential here and this area really needs a good dog park so maybe it could be improved in the future if people take better care of it and utilize it.
I couldn’t attach my video but here’s some screenshots of the video showing how shockingly easily this dog who’s not even THAT small could walk through with no struggle whatsoever.
