It is a beautiful spot to reflect and pray!!! The only negative thing is the bathrooms are always locked. Which makes it difficult for me to stay very long.
Well, my family and I were there enjoying a peaceful day in the sunshine. My husband fished a bit, but it was too hot for that. So we circled the lake a couple of times and called it a day. Our one year old enjoyed herself playing where the boats launched, and as long as she enjoyed herself, we’re happy.
Very cool place and they have new construction happening now they will be renting canoes soon also new floating dock and also will be selling bait soon too once construction is completed
It’s so pretty and peaceful. Love bringing my grandbabies. Just had both of their graduation get together there. For pre school and kindergarten. They love being by the water and putting their feet in the water when sitting on the docks. They have bbq pits and tables if you want to go spend the day. I see people fishing. They have a large covered area you can use if you have a lot of people. Nice place.
I’ve been to this spot often. Sometimes canoeing for the day with my beautiful wife. There’s so much beauty on the lake that can only be seen from the water.
Other times I’ve been there to BBQ with family. Other times I’ve gone by myself just for the beauty and peace in the morning.
The only negative is the restroom is always locked. The few times it’s open, the smell isn’t very pleasant and it’s very dirty.
