Enders Reservoir, located in Enders, Nebraska, is a spacious and scenic destination popular for camping, fishing, and family relaxation. The area features a dog park with open grassy fields, shade from mature trees, and beautiful lake views, making it a great place for dog owners seeking a tranquil, dog-friendly outing. The park’s vibrant green space, easy lake access, and nearby pet-friendly trails provide plenty of room for your pup to run, play, or walk on a leash.
Visitors appreciate its laid-back feel, plentiful shade, and availability of amenities such as electric hookups, trash bins, and parking. The dog park area is said to provide a safe, open space for dogs to play, and it tends to be less crowded, especially in the early mornings. While there is no mention of designated agility equipment or double-gated entrances, families and pet owners praise the park for its peaceful vibe and ample room for off-leash fun. Just remember to bring your own water and bags, as water fountains and restrooms may not always be available year-round.
Love camping here. Doesn’t have the many, many, many rules that camping in Colorado comes with. The cat fish were practically putting themselves on the stringer. Water level is pretty low, but that just exposed some old homesteads for us to explore on the west end. A lot of clams on the west end as well.
Get here early if you want electric hook up. No air conditioning made the camper hot on a 100 plus weekend, but it 15 degrees cooler down by the lake. Great beach area for swimming and water toys.
Great place, very reasonable. Be great to spend some time. They have electric, so you’d have to move and dump your tanks. Beautiful reservoir.
Other than the bugs. Aka ticks and the lady with the 4 barking non stop dogs it was great. Water was warm, not over crowded good price.
A little noisy during the day. Some people should clean up after themselves better. This is a state park and litter is everyone’s problem. There is plenty of trash recepticals available.
