West Recreation Field

Nice park. Good selection of playground activities for kids, many softball fields and a few baseball fields. Has an outdoor basketball court, a very nice splash pad and a nice sized gymnasium. I’m pretty sure the gym is only available to rent.
The rec field is really nice, but the ref for the 4pm game today is awful. He gave a red card to the wrong kid for using foul language. Not only was it the wrong kid, but on the wrong team. It was early in the first half, so his neglect contributed to that team losing the game due to being a man down the majority of the game. There was obvious shoving on both sides that went ignored, one happening about 10 feet in front of his face. What a shame.

Skatepark: Definitely suggest a bike instead of a skateboard. The asphalt is rough, ramps are ok. They at least tried and it is somewhere to skate. Redoing the asphalt one day would make this a nice place.
