This park is beautiful! I love the trail and the beautiful river across the whole park. Nice place for kids of any age. There’s playgrounds, fishing, seating areas and more…
Wonderful park with some Paved and dirt trails near the Black River. There is a 0.9-mile loop that’s takes you from the parking lot to the waterfalls with wooden steps to take you down to an overlook. Note that near the waterfall is a lot of broken glass on the trail. Be careful with pets. Taking the trail over the bridge from the parking lot will take you to another playground with pavilion and picnic tables and a Very quaint little wooden trail that is also a loop and that can take you directly across the man made overflow.
Love this park….lost too see if your willing to explore the trails. Take your time and explore!
Wish trails and maps were alittle better marked. Not a long trail but great stretch to the falls than back and checked out the cascades. Great park with water features for the kiddos
Rugged paths off and on, some paved/wooden stair areas on the path. Nice waterfalls, down river has a sign that says sewage drains into the river so i wouldnt recommend swimming. Extremely fishy smelling. Worth the hike if you can climb it. Not for the elderly. There is a second walkway to the west falls, not sure the ease of use for that walkway, will try it out next time.
