Beautiful park with lots of trails, a couple of lakes, boating, picnic tables, playgrounds, etc. Something for everyone. Can easily spend an entire day there. Clean bathrooms.
Camped with 3 children as part of a larger Cub Scout group (Wyomissing Pack 413) on their annual campout. Good, clean campsite, w/ cabin. Plenty of room for all our parking and tent/pavilion needs. Good size fire pit.
Camped there with our travel trailer-very nice park. Our campsite was in Loop A,which is pet friendly. The sites are pretty spacious with shades. If you camp with kids, choose loop A-its much closer to the playground. We didn’t use bathouse but they were clean and had showers.Park has 2 lakes, but swimming is prohibited. There is a big pool next to Hopewell lake.Lots of hike trails. Overall we had great experience and definitely will com back.
Great amenities, although some things seemed pricey. Staff was very friendly, helpful, plentiful, and knowledgeable.
We enjoyed the motorized row boat.
The only thing I didn’t like was the loud music that could be heard all around the pool and boat rental. It took away from the experience.
Grounds are well maintained.
We were here in early April. Unfortunately it was wet and cold. However we still had a wonderful time. So many great trails to hike or bike. A bit cold to get out on the lakes, but I can imagine really nice to explore on the warmer days. The campsite is nice, set in woodlands. Spaced apart well with fire pits and camping table/area set aside from concrete pad for vehicles.
Choice of full serviced/just powered/basic.
