Good park
I think this park is a forgotten jewel in the area. The people who help create and maintain it should be celebrated. It’s a simple park but has a lot to offer. Even on a cold wintry day….
Great place to sit by the water and have lunch. Then walk around the pond. Clean place.
I wish we had a park like this near home! Perfect-sized park to walk the dogs. The path surrounds a beautiful pond with lots of ducks! There’s a good-sized dog park, amusement park, skate park, and sports fields. We were recently in the area on a mini vacation and someone suggested we check it out and take the dogs. We were not disappointed!
It is a rather small park perfect for picnic and younger kids. They do have mini golf, flyers, and paddle boats for adults. Very clean park that has a nostalgic feel to it, as well as the feeling that it is being brought back to in some form to its glory days.
The main attraction is the beautiful carousel. “The fastest one in the world”. The only drawback for us is they were not operating the brass ring mechanism while we were there.
