Stopped cause “dog park” search brought this up.
Seemed nice but overrun with Sandburs. Unless you have a lab type doggo then avoid… Unless you are looking to give your fingers acupuncture

Free camping 3 days per 6 day period. WMA, nice lake, right on river, hunting permitted. It is filthy with litter. Not too loud. Close to a truck stop for a shower and a Casey’s for pizza/ gas or diesel fuel. Needs the litter picked up.

Technically, this isn’t a dog park:-( because it sure would make a five star one!! I couldn’t include any pictures of young lady running around without her leash because there was clearly a sign that said leashes were required? But it didn’t say they were mandated, or woman dated depending on how you look at it. But no matter how you look at it, you are one very mean cruel individual if you don’t bring your puppy out here and let them run crazy!!

There is a very pretty pond/lake, but there are no fun activities for a dog to do. My pup is high energy so wanted to take him for a fun day but there are no enclosed areas so couldn’t turn him loose to run.

Blue Hole has two entrances, a North entrance for fishing and a South entrance that leads around the lake, usually for hunting. This wildlife management area is often hunted. It is very popular with Bow hunters. The wooded area around the back of the lake is fun to explore, and I have seen deer, eagles, ducks, geese, and beavers there. A few okay trails lead to the back, but the trails are in no way casual and are not for littler kids. The north entrance leads to the boat unloading and fishing areas. These areas are very filthy. People have left fishing and shooting trash all over. Food and drink trash are strewn about, giving the impression of a dirty and dangerous area. This is a shame as this Management Area really cool and fun to explore. Take a trash bags and help clean it up, please.
