Great parking lot…one of my all time favorites.
We wanted to run the blue diamond trail but got confused and ran on the blue trail. They could have used a different color, say, purple?
Fair hill has a good trail for a nice morning hike. This trail is not toddler friendly. We took our toddler on this trail and we had a hard time pushing the stroller. In general the trail was quiet, lots of shades. Our toddler enjoyed the hike.
An expensive area with numerous trails for Hikers, joggers, bicyclists and horseback riding. Costs ? per car for Maryland residents and ? per car for out of state people.
Various types of trails from wide gravel paths to natural narrow terrain to grassy trails for the rarely used ones. There are maps on-site. If one gers unintentionally detoured ( I did. Went thru an Equestrian event that was in the practice session) there are many ways to get back.
Went 11 miles in 4 1/4 hours Returning for a MEGA HIKE in the future.
Warning for those with strollers. Need the big wheeled ones on gravel paths.
I love coming here to walk my dog anytime here. We often see different wildflowers birds and deer. If we’re really lucky to see a fox.
