Paradise Pines Resort

Great cabin stay! The location is top notch – across the street from the beach and walking distance to town and more beaches. The cabins are comfy and cozy with lots of great touches. Shuffleboard and the shared grilling area make for a perfect hang out spot.

We waited too late in season to book. The only cabins left were the eco ones. We had to bring our own stuff. Which was fine. Loved the bathroom in between the living and bed room. Since we were not a couple, we did not choose to sleep in same room. But shared for storing our suitcases and dressing. The pull out couch was not comfortable. That being said, next time we will try to book a different cabin. Other than that, perfect for our stay, we loved walking across the street for the beach. Have stayed many times in and around Elk rapids, never been to that one. We played shuffleboard. Had a Bon fire. Owners were easy to get ahold of and saw them around. TV had many choices, kitchen had really all we needed. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only a 1 mile walk to downtown and 2 to Pearls. My personal favorite restaurant in the area, even after 15 years. They also have bikes to ride. I would not hesitate to rebook.

I was nervous about staying in these cottages! I read the reviews before we came (which were good) however, I usually only stay in hotels. 😁 But this place was Great (in some ways better than a hotel)! We stayed in cottage 2! It has two rooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and a living room. Let me just say , this place was so clean! The owners definitely care so much about their business/property! They really pay attention to the small details! The cottage was adorable! Fun shuffle board game outside ( which we loved)and the kids club house was adorable! I literally couldn’t find anything to complain about! Hot water, clean rooms, towels, shampoo and conditioner, beach towels, even small fans, fully stocked kitchen utensils! The downtown was adorable! Super close to a lil art park across the street and beach. Props to the owners for having a really fun, cozy, well kept place for people to enjoy!

A lovely stay! Me and my partner stayed in Cabin 10. The cabin was very clean and private. Property was cozy and inviting. Lisa had amazing communication and promptly answered any questions I had. Check-in was stress-free. Paradise Pines is in a great location, beach access and Walk of Art sculpture park is literally across the street. Downtown Elk Rapids was just a 3 minute drive and Traverse City was only around a 20-25 min drive. Would highly recommend!!

My husband and I stayed in a small cabin with Paradise Pines for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and tidy, and the host were wonderful and friendly. This was so much nicer than staying in a hotel! It’s really a beautiful spot just a walk across the road to the lake to watch the sunset. There was a nice little walking path through the woods to walk our dog and They had shuffle boards and a place where you can have a small bonfire they provided a grill with all the supplies needed. I feel they went above and beyond. We enjoyed the small town atmosphere with the little shops to walk and shop and get a nice dinner after the day was finished. We will definitely come back next time we stay in Elk Rapids
