My favorite of all the beaches for miles. It is beautifully maintained. Has a charming downtown area. As a Traverse City local, I actuallydrive to go to this beach as often as possible.
I vacation in Michigan every summer and always visit Elk Rapids, MI beach. The water is wonderful doesn’t get deep very fast. Has restrooms, a place to wash off sand from
your feet, playground, basketball and tennis courts if you need something else to do besides swimming.
This is one of the best beaches I’ve ever been on. I am a rock hunter and I found some amazing rocks. Definitely go back again
