Cause it was run down and overgrown 10 year’s ago n local residents took it upon themselves to clean it up over the death of their son. I planted 4 tree’s there with the help of the boyscouts, which was donated by my brother Lee company. Larson’s 🌳.

Great place to go that not many know of. There is a pavilion and playground. Also if you walk to the back into the woods there is a creek with a swimming spot.

Other that there not being a hole lot of up keep at the park and the big F YOU that has yet to be taken off the sign on the playground it is a great place unlike Northeast or it’s filled with crackheads this place has wonderful kind people if there is even anybody you actually run into wonderful trails in a creek

Great break spot for dogs to stretch their legs right off the interstate! So glad I found this place on google. My three pups and I are traveling and have been stopping at truck stops for breaks and they are too loud, busy, and hardly any grass. Highly recommend for travelers!!!

A tiny little park with a ton of grass.
Wonderful walks can be had in the middle of a sunny summer day, there’s rarely anyone ever here ☀️
You can pretty much only spend 20-30 minutes here before you get bored 😴
Would be amazing if you lived nearby, however.
