Love this location! Very updated and lots of fun options for playing! There’s a tub of water my pup loved that! Lots of doggie bowls of water and seating. Just not too much shade – once those trees grow though! Nice theres a little and big side plus a spot to rinse off after is the bomb!! For sure will be back!
⚠️ Incident at Oasis Dog Park – April 13, 2025
On Sunday, April 13, my chihuahua mix was attacked by a French Bulldog at Oasis Dog Park in Elk Grove, CA. Unfortunately, my dog was injured and required veterinary care.
I’ve reported the incident to Elk Grove Animal Control and am sharing this to make others aware and encourage caution when visiting the park.
If you witnessed the incident or have had a similar experience, feel free to reach out privately. I do have a photo of the dog’s owner, which I am holding onto for now as I consider next steps.
Please stay alert and keep your pups safe—no one should have to go through this at a community space meant for fun and connection.
Much better than most dog parks well maintained with plenty of grass
We loved that there were 2 areas, one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. There was a water basin for dogs to drink from, and in the summer, there’s a water basin for playing to cool off. There are plenty of fixtures for dogs to climb and explore. People here were friendly, and the dogs were well mannered. We’ll continue to drive a bit further for the experience and amenities here.
It’s a nice park. Plenty of space for both big and small dogs. The community is really good here
