This is indeed a work in progress. However, there are not many places in the area that allow for dogs to be off leash. It has great potential to be a solid resource for the community. There isn’t any water on location at the moment, so make sure to bring water in with you. There were some balls, toys, bowls and plastic bags to dispose of pet waste. It has two fully fenced areas one for large and the other for small dogs. I took my dog and several others joined and everyone had a great time. It would be nice to have some stumps, tires, or other objects that dogs could jump up onto for variety. I anticipate that it will be too hot to visit in the summer with no real shade or vegetation on the ground. However, I’m just glad and happy there is something like this in the county. 🙂

This is a recent addition to the area. It is a work in progress. They have added a bench and shade awning since the last review was published. Can’t complain about free, safe area to let dogs run. There are trail systems nearby for more adventures. Public restrooms at the train depot just down the way.
