Edison-Metuchen Community Dog Park offers well-maintained, spacious areas for both small and large dogs to run and play safely with separate fenced sections. The park features agility equipment, seating benches, water stations active during warm months, plenty of trash bins, and ample parking. It is clean and quiet, with amenities for children including a separate playground, slides, and swings. The park is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking and entrance. While off-leash play is allowed inside, some issues with patrons unleashing dogs outside and occasional neglect in cleaning after pets have been noted.

Dislike that many patrons unleash their dogs outside of the fenced area. Many neglect picking up after their pet inside and outside the park. They are also the people who will be confrontational about it should you mention it to them.
Nice dog park with 2 separate areas for larger and smaller sized dogs. There’s a few benches to sit while you’re doggos play around. There are also a few obstacles and equipment pieces for the dogs as well. Plenty of trash cans and it’s relatively clean. They do have water stations that are active during the warm weather months. No restrooms at the park. They do have separate playground for kids as well.
Great place to take your dog. Plenty of space to run and play.
My wife and I were in town for a horror convention and to visit family. We wanted to allow our little girl run around because we live in upstate NY and she’d been cramped up for so long. So we brought her here. We loved that there’s big dog and small dog areas! Anya has an absolute blast running around and playing with the other dogs there. It was such a a nice park, so well kept up with, nice and tidy and the area it’s located in is so quiet and nice! Would definitely take her here again if we’re in Edison again!
Good park, well maintained, hardly any poop left by owners… lots of room to run and play. Two separate parks for big & small. Plenty of parking also
