The slide here has an iron bar above it that is just the exact height to bonk a child in the head. As my kiddo bonked his forehead to gain an immediate 2 inch mark across his skin, all the mom’s in my group chimed in to announce it had gotten every one of their children, and some of them, themselves. It’s basically a right of passage so it seems. Beware the bar! Please some one from parks and rec go saw it off and file it down so no body else gets hurt.

Madison Park is a nice small town park. A pool, playground, tennis courts, pavilions, ball diamond, basketball court, and short trail are all available. There isnt a lit to do here compared to some places, but it is a good picnic site, place to eat lunch, or to just hang out outside.

Madison District Park is a nice, little park. There is a playground, 2 basketball courts, a swimming pool, a small trail, batting cage, baseball field, tennis courts and some shelters too! It’s a really cool place.
