This is one of my most favourite parks, right on the side of Hudson Bay in Edgewater NJ. You can clearly see George Washington bridge from the amazing walkway along Hudson Bay, which is neat and clean, with great exercise machines every few yards. It has a wonderful play area for kids, and a big football, soccer, baseball and cricket fields to play in.

I really loved this Park. You can sit and enjoy the weather, wait while your kids play, or take a walk along the river. It’s such a wonderful spot, and I’ll definitely come back again.

Veterans Field Park in Edgewater is much bigger space than what I expected. There is a large field combined with a playground, views overlooking the George Washington Bridge and more.

There are always events surrounding Veterans Field Park. Taking advantage of joining and checking out such events is wonderful and today was my first time seeing how expansive the playground in the space.

We are not far from here which makes the drive easier with our toddler. Playground is awesome, all the better to continue exploring. Free parking, access to the field. Get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Had a great experience picnicking here last weekend after finding Palisades Park temporary closed. This spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise; well-maintained grounds, clean bathrooms, and plenty of amenities that really show the town is putting tax dollars to good use. The park offers a scenic Hudson River waterfront walkway with beautiful views of the NYC skyline, making it a relaxing place to unwind. There’s ample parking, a playground, sports fields, and enough picnic tables, so it’s easy to spend a few hours here comfortably.
It’s also perfectly located if you’re stopping by Mitsuwa Marketplace or grabbing food from The Pitt BBQ nearby, ideal for a spontaneous picnic. Overall, this mini park is a solid community space that’s clean, family-friendly, and a great alternative when other parks are closed or crowded. Hopefully the good vibes stay.
