This fully fenced park boasts multiple gated areas: two long, shaded open runs for large dogs and a dedicated section for small dogs. Seating is plentiful with benches and chairs available for owners to relax while their dogs play, making it ideal for socializing with friendly local pet owners.
Amenities include fresh water stations, new tennis balls, and well-stocked poop stations to help keep the park clean. The park is wheelchair accessible and features a large, paved parking lot for convenience. With lots of shady areas, this pet-friendly destination is perfect for dogs who need to stay cool during warm Maryland summers. While there are no onsite restrooms, a gas station is just around the corner for your convenience. Clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed, this park is a standout choice among dog-friendly destinations in Edgewater.
The large dog area is separated into two nice long open runs. There are plenty of shady areas even at midday There is also a fresh water station available outside the runs. Unfortunately whomever the genius was that designed the park paved the parking area and run entrances with asphalt, so it will be too hot for the dogs in the summer. Someone should paint the asphalt white ASAP.
What a great dog park! It is large and shady. The people are lovely too. All total, a great place!
I took my puppy here for the first time this week and was so impressed by the size of the park. I love that they have two large dog areas and that they have benches and chairs to sit on. All of the people there were very friendly!
Great dog park! Very clean and very well maintained. There are three large gated areas, one for small breeds and two for large breeds. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this park is for our fur babies. There were new tennis balls provided, poop stations and a water well for fresh water. The only downside is that there are no restrooms, but there is a gas station around the corner (that’s a quick drive).
Dogs are always friendly. Just wish the park attendants would not throw away the water bowls and water jugs. I have contacted the county twice about this.
