Black Beard's Bay Waterpark
Black Beard’s Bay Waterpark is a family-friendly water park located in Edgerton, OH. What a hidden gem! I’ve lived in the area my entire life, and I never knew this place existed. They have a wading pool that is 3.5 feet deep. Perfect for kids who aren’t super comfortable swimming in deep water. (I believe this was heated because the water was warm) They have a large hot tub that isn’t excessively hot. It didn’t have bubbles like typical hot tubs, but it was so nice on a breezy 80° day for those of us who her cold quickly. And the main event. The splash pad with water sides and a giant barrel that splashes nearly the entire area. Never seen anything like it, and I’m a pretty avid traveler. The kids loved every minute of it. They have about 3 life guards on duty, and it’s a really chill atmosphere. They had music playing. Family appropriate hits. Stuff you’d hear on the radio.
Admission was NULL a person. Handicapped persons get in for NULL. They offered food and ice cream along with having a small general shop for the Bay and the campground. (Sunscreen, candy, marshmallows, swimmy diapers) They have bathrooms on site where you can change. One inside the admission building, and your standard restrooms along the outside. We will definitely be returning.
Loads of fun for our 3 Granddaughters ages 14,14 and 11. Something fun for kiddos of all ages. It’s a very clean well organized water park. Snack and clean restrooms available. You can purchase a pass for the day or a few hours.
Loads of fun, took our niece and nephew and they had a blast.
Grandkids love coming here. My grandson started begging the day school was over for summer vac.!

Absolutely love this place. Tucked in the middle of nowhere and is never too crowded. All of the staff are kind, from the moment you enter the park until you leave. Fun experience for all ages,they provide swim diapers at no extra cost by the door. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Food is good, and the water is refreshing. They also let you bring your own cooler into the park. They have plenty of chairs and lounge chairs,shaded areas are also a plus.
