Edina Dog Park in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Edina Dog Park is a popular, well-maintained dog park conveniently located near Hopkins, in Eden Prairie. It is designed to be accessible, with both wheelchair-friendly parking and entrances, making it easy for everyone to enjoy time with their pets. The park offers a large, open, bowl-like terrain, where your dog can run, play fetch, or simply socialize with other friendly pets and their owners. There is ample seating for dog owners, and a pleasant trail that runs along the park’s upper edge for a short stroll.

While the park is not the largest in the area, it makes up for it with its friendly community and scenic setting. Such a beautiful and open dog park!! It’s almost like bowl, there is a little trail and runs along the fence line at the top

Not super large, and very muddy. No shortage of people with dogs that shouldn’t be off leash (aggressive, territorial). Permit is required, which you may find out if someone from Edina calls the police (as expected).

Nice park!

My two dogs and I explore as many local off leash parks as possible. This one is on the average scale overall.

Better than Dakota Dog Park in SLP because theres more space to walk for humans, more places to sit, and grass!

Of course its incomparable to Battle Creek or Minnehaha.

Basically, theres about 7 minutes of walking before you have to do circles.

Biggest issue is water. You have to bring your dogs water because theres no fountain or hose or anything. Bring a lot because most dogs seem to be super thirsty.

Decent path along the high edge, the park slopes down steeply to the center, which is fenced off. The center looks like it gets swampy in wet weather, so the fence in the middle is great. Lots of open space but if your dogs enjoy running, the pitch of the hill may be dangerous if they aren’t very careful.

Just moved to hopkins and I noticed this was the closest park to my home. Could t be happier! This park has plenty of chairs, good dogs and their owners, and space for your dog to fetch, run, and play! I will definitely be coming back here!
