I ride my Mountain bike there regularly and absolutely love the trails. The facilities are always clean and I feel safe going there by my self. The storms have downed several trees. Georgia Power owns and operates the park and I am sure they will eventually get to them. They have been working to help the hurricane victims so I am patiently waiting before I go back.

Great hidden gem. We went to see the effigy but was very surprise at how much this park area has to offer. From archery targets, trails, educational placards, great wildlife, to a great viewing tower. It is free to visit the effigy and trails. If you pay a nominal fee you can enter the adjacent park with picnic areas, swimming, camping and even a boat ramp.
