Last Thursday we played tennis at Leeward Park in Eastchester. The courts are clean, well-kept, and a lot of fun to play on; you just need to reserve your spot in advance for an hour of play. There’s also a great playground, a few outdoor workout stations, a basketball court, and plenty of open grass for kicking a soccer ball or throughing a baseball.

Best park in the area and always a good time, shading should be re done as the play ground can get super hot. But overall one of the nicest parks I’ve been to. Plenty to do and porta potties that are always clean and kept

I stopped by Leewood Park today with my girlfriend to have lunch, and I was genuinely blown away. I’ve driven past it many times, but this was my first time actually checking it out since the recent renovations—and wow, what a transformation!

The park is beautifully manicured and thoughtfully designed. It has a little bit of everything: a small little league baseball diamond, tennis and pickleball courts, a bocce ball area, outdoor workout stations, and a great playground for kids. There’s even a peaceful shaded spot near the playground with picnic tables—perfect for lunch or relaxing.

It’s free to visit and enjoy most of the park, though if you want to play tennis or pickleball, there’s a very reasonable NULL seasonal membership fee (for residents of Bronxville, Tuckahoe, or Eastchester). Totally worth it for the quality of the courts and the overall vibe.

This kind of park is an amazing asset to have right in town. Whether you’re looking to stay active, bring the kids, or just unwind outdoors, Leewood Park has something for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!
