I believe this is the only dog park for the East point, Hapeville, College Park area so not to be discounted. It could be improved by adding seating in sunny areas on the Small Dog side. Currently, all seating is under a gazebo, and on cool or cold days or time of day it’s nicer to be in the sun. Park officials might consider adding another bench or two.

I love this dog park because it is relatively close to home. There is one section for smaller dogs another section for large larger dogs and you also have a patio with seating so you’re able to take a seat and watch your dog as they play and have fun.

As a few of the other comments or reviews I will say some of the downsides are the grass is very patchy so my dog always comes back with very muddy paws and has to have a good thorough wash afterwards.

Additionally, there is no designated parking so you have to find street parking in order to go into the dog park if you need to drive to this location. The community that consistently goes to the dog park also has their own Facebook group. Really good people you meet there fun and great dogs alike.

Love going to this park especially during the weekday. Usually never busy. There’s two separate areas for large and small dogs. There are picnic tables and both have these course type items if your dog can do tricks.

Only caveat, the grass is basically patchy and mainly dirt/mud 😩 The fountain doesn’t always work so bring your own water. No actual parking right by it but street parking available in front. Hopefully the city or whoever owns it can try to get it back growing as summer approaches.

I love this dog park. It has a pass through area in the middle from big dogs and little dogs, maybe just in case you may need to separate your dogs. They have a pretend fire hydrant for dogs.
I wish it had a working water fountain for dogs. The only other thing you REALLY should know, ( and that is for long haired dog owners,) their feet will get extremely dirty.
