It’s a really nice spot, but campfires are not allowed. This was the first time I camped and didn’t smell the smoke of a campfire. It was a different experience. The restrooms are clean and every site has water.
Just came out for a quick overnighter and had a great time. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They take Good care of the park and make regular rounds to make sure all guests are comfortable and enjoy themselves. Get out and camp!
It was beautiful . Just remember to book Friday and sat it’s gets filled up and it’s really cool. There are nice people and on the weekends when every spot is if full it’s so nice . Ticks are bad in the woods . Be careful . I’m going back real soon
Nice campground, close to NYC and Fire Island. The office is open till 11 pm, there is ice machine as well, and even the ice cream truck comes near sites. Large sites, but there are no bushes between them, so you can see all your neighbors. Also you have grill, but no fire pit on sites, you can bring yours, and there is one common fire pit. A good thing that we were afraid of ticks, but we used bug spray and long pants and socks and we were fine.
My Family and I have been coming here since they allowed RV in the Campgrounds. Staff is very friendly and we always book the same sites every year. Plenty of space for my Travel Trailer and a Tent for the Grandkids. Easy access to and from work.
