East Brunswick Dog Park offers a spacious and welcoming retreat for dogs and their owners looking for an off-leash play area in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Conveniently located on Dunhams Corner Rd, this dog park is known for its accessibility features, including wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, as well as dedicated onsite parking for visitors. The park is fully fenced and features separate sections for large dogs (30 lbs and over) and small dogs, ensuring safer interactions and a comfortable environment for every pup.
The park is equipped with a recently repaired water fountain for thirsty dogs, as well as evening lighting that allows for late-day visits. While the surface is gravel—great for avoiding mud after rains—visitors should remain attentive, as some guests note that not all owners closely monitor their pets. The dog park is a popular spot for local canine socialization, and its clear signage regarding leash use helps ensure safety in surrounding areas. Whether you’re a neighborhood regular or visiting for the first time, East Brunswick Dog Park is a top choice for dog owners seeking a dedicated, convenient space in Middlesex County.
More than a few dog park options in my area. This one has lights for the evening. That’s the main sell here. Not the nicest park and the dogs visiting aren’t all well behaved. I call this park the thunderdome. If you’re on top of your pup tho you should be ok. Again , this one has lights.
Giant and plentiful signs telling us to keep our dogs on leash outside of the dog park … and what’s the first thing I see? Some jerk letting his dog roam free. I asked if he had a leash and he showed his shock collar controller. Nope. Sorry. Not the same.
He put his dog back in the car then entered the park. Stared me down with a “What?” look.
When I told him it’s for everyone’s safety and there’s no second set of rules for him, he decided he’s “done talking” about it. He walked over to a friend of his, said something, then left and drove off.
I followed my little dog around the interior fence perimeter and was disappointed, but not shocked, at the number of piles of poop that were left. I picked up about a dozen along with trash strewn about.
It’s generally a good property, but the patrons leave a lot to be desired.
Nice dog park
Wish water fountain worked. But brought bottled water so we were okay.
Nice gravel area so not muddy but lots of negligent owners not watching their dogs and letting their alpha dogs dominate others. Knew it was going to be bad when the first thing said to me was “are you new here? So do you know about these dogs yet?” So apparently this crew has a reputation 🤦🏻♀️
Dog park has two sections. One side is for smaller dogs and the other is for dogs 30 lbs and over. They just fixed the water fountain so that’s a plus. Dogs and owners are friendly. Have never had a bad experience with my dog here and can be often found here
