What a beautiful park. Plenty of space to play and park. Lots of mixed hardwoods and evergreens. The trail I was on had been freshly widened. A lot of roots throughout the trail. Some hills, a few pavilions to sit at. I think this is a bird watchers paradise…I identified the following species: Northern Flicker, red wing blackbird, eastern screech owl, cardinal, red breasted nuthatch, red bellied woodpecker, Canada goose, crow, nuthatch, black capped chickadee, turkey, and a red tail fox. I went out looking for some acorns, but the diversity of the flora and fauna was quite impressive and I barely got into the park. More exploration is needed!
