Hagood Park Dog Park is a well-maintained, dog-friendly destination nestled in the heart of Easley, South Carolina. This park features a large, securely fenced area for dogs to play off-leash, with separate spaces for large and small pups. The grounds are kept clean and tidy, with staff ensuring plenty of waste bags and trash bins are available. The park is known for its welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly vibe, boasting amenities such as a baseball field, basketball court, playground, and picnic tables in the broader park area.
Local dog owners appreciate Hagood Park Dog Park for its spacious design, dedicated kid’s play areas, and the opportunity for pets and children to socialize in a safe environment. The dog park offers easy access and parking, is wheelchair accessible, and is noted for its well-kept grassy areas. While there’s a nice mix of sun and partial shade (mainly in the small dog area), there currently isn’t a working water source for dogs, so visitors should bring their own. Families seeking a secure and enjoyable outing for their dogs and children will find this park a convenient and reputable choice in Easley.
The review I read before coming were out of date apparently.
It’s mowed and kept short and there is some straw spread where the bald patches are, but the large dog park itself no longer has any agility equipment or benches or shade. The small dog side has some shade from trees and 1 bench. If you want a large fensed in area for running, it works. There are plenty of garbage bins and poop bags, but it’s not what’s pictured.
I did walk the fense line and it’s pretty secure. There’s a slight gap under the gate closer to the road, but probably not anything the larger dogs can get through.
It’s a great park , just don’t have any access to water for the puppies hopefully it gets fixed
Not my favorite park for the kids, due to being small, and unshaded, but some nice people frequent this park, and the dog park has many good pup friends for canine family to meet, and have impromptu play dates with, plus I’ve had my kids playing just feet from me while allowing the family dog have her free run, and play time which is amazing on busy days, or days that ran late, and everyone needs to play before bed.
This park is absolutely beautiful, very well maintained!!! The grass is kept cut short and the grounds are very clean. There are baggies for ppl to clean tbeir dogs’ messes up as well as trashcans that are also kept up with so they are never full. This park is very quiet and I didn’t see any certsin types of ppl (if you kbow what I mean) there that shouldn’t be there. There were well behaved teenagers playing basketball and childrem swinging on swings. Even all the dogs were getting along so I have to say this has truly been the most pleasurabke experience I’ve ever had at a park and I hughly recommend to families that are looking for a SAFE place to take their children and/or dogs! To put it bluntly, I did not see any junkies, dealers or bullies!!! GOOD JOB, EASLEY, SOUTH CAROLINA!
Well kept up. There is plenty of space for the dogs, plus a playground for the kids. Trash cans were not overflowing, no trash on the ground, plenty of poopie bags in stock, obvious people clean up after themselves. We’ll definitely be going back
