We had a great time enjoying live music out doors in this small town. The best park it has it all. Play grounds. Tennis courts etc. Lots to explore for any age.

The “Danger” Zone

Great during summer concer season, they do music every weekend with no admission. The parks modern and well kept. Tennis courts a day basket ball, even a mini skating rink was pit up this year in winter. It’s a beautiful place. Playground is really nice as well and seems safe 👏

Wonderful small town park with a variety of equipment for the kiddos. Love the stage area and how often it gets used! Enjoy the shelter for family get-togethers such as birthday parties. Wish there were more shade trees for those hot summer afternoons but overall it’s a great place to spend time!

Just a short drive South of I-80, this city park would be a great stop for a family making a longer trip or for anyone in the area to enjoy.

– Several different pieces of playground equipment spread out to take advantage of all the space, all in pretty good shape.
– From the other pictures on Google maps it looks like they must have performances at some point on the little bandstand area, so that’s neat.
– The bathroom appeared to be in good, clean shape.
– The tennis court / basketball court area on the other side of the street looked nice, it had a prefab flooring on it, not sure how that actually works when you go to play either game, but it at least looks nice and probably won’t ever wear out.
– Interesting that they do still have one of the old school merry-go-rounds here, and it does get going pretty fast.
– Also interesting that they have four horseshoe pits, although they look like they could use a little bit of attention, maybe some sand.
-The little shelter had quite a few picnic tables in it, so it would be good for either stopping for lunch or if somebody was hosting an event here

The only real downside was the lack of a dedicated parking area, although this wasn’t really unexpected since it basically is just an entire city block, so there is plenty of street parking all the way around it.

In conclusion, a surprisingly nice park for a smaller town and definitely worth a stop if a person is in the area and has some kids that need to burn off some energy.

Nice and clean fun for all ages. It has plenty of room for group gathering and a cover eating area. They also have a nice stage for concerts, plays or even church services. Pet friendly as long as you pick up your pets droppings.
