One of our two favorites in the LA-area, this park offers a great combination of size, terrain, and friendly-people. Right off the freeway, there is generally parking along the street but on occasion it can be hard to find. We love how there’s turf so our dog don’t get too messy afterwards and lots of bench-style seating for humans too. There’s plenty of fields nearby if for some reason the park is closed to play.

Pros: 50% of the park is turf, which means your dog won’t collect as much dirt/dust. The other 50% is concrete and some hills on the side, which is cool if your dog enjoys climbing like mine! There’s plenty of tree and covering for shade when it’s sunny. There’s a nice drinking area for the doggies too.

Cons: No designated parking, so you’ll have to find street parking which generally isn’t challenging.

Really great dog park right off the freeway. The turf is super nice compared to the usual sand/dirt the other dog parks have. There’s also a dog water fountain and some shade covers which are great in the summer. Benches and trash cans surround the perimeter keeping the area pretty clean. The park also provides bags for pet waste clean up. Nearby on the baseball fields there are restrooms as well as large open grassy areas where lots of dogs were off leash (this area was not fenced in so keep that in mind)

This dog park provides a quaint space for furry friends to play, featuring ample greenery and a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy shaded seating while their dogs romp around on the astroturf and explore a few boulder rocks. However, the park’s persistent odor of dog urine may be a deterrent for some. Parking is plentiful but requires a significant walk to reach the dog park, with limited street parking available near a busy road. Unfortunately, the park lacks amenities such as water stations and waste disposal bins. Additionally, visitors should note the park’s closure on Wednesday mornings from 6 am to 8 am for maintenance. Overall, while the park offers a peaceful setting, the odor and lack of conveniences may detract from the overall experience.

This is an excellent Rec center, one of the best I’ve been to. It has ample parking. There’s a basketball court, a tennis court with a pickleball court lined section, 2 kid play areas, (one with a toddler section) and a nice hiking path that winds through the park. And a baseball field. The grounds are well maintained

I have a 2 year old lab mix who loves to run and play with other dogs so we go to a lot of dog parks and this is my favorite. the astroturf and paved paths make it feel a lot nicer and cleaner than most parks, and there are a ton of trees and 2 shade structures to keep it cool. plenty of benches, well placed trashcans, and a water fountain for dogs and people (including a water bottle filler!). two slight downsides are that the easiest place to park is parallel parking on a busy street, and it’s all one park instead of separated by size
