Small dirt pad. Fine for dogs who wanna chill, but unfortunately my dog is a menace who needs to run around.
Very simple dog enclosure. One for small dogs and another for large dogs. No water available. Very rocky sand ground cover. According to sign posted, dogs need to be registered with the parks recreation department. Of interest and an error on the city of Durham the signs posted in Spanish is completely wrong and refers to a tennis court. I imagine that there is a tennis court in Durham has a sign posted in Spanish that refers the tennis court as a dog park.
Decent sand / gravel park. Ntn great about this space. There are better parks in the area.It says all dogs entering the park must be registered with durham parks and rec.
Eehhh this is a good simple fix if your looking to bring your dog to a fenced in area. Not the best I’ve seen but gets the job done. It’s right by the street of busy downtown but if your dog doesn’t mind the hustle and bustle it’s a nice little spot. It’s not that big and it’s all dirt so wear the right shoes because you’ll probably leave dusty and bring something to wipe your dogs paws if your don’t want your car dirty! There are 2 sides for small and large dogs the small dog side is even smaller than large dog side-the pictures are from the large dog side. There’s also no water so bring your own for your pooch!:)
No other dogs during our visit. The other city dog parks I’ve been to are much nicer.
