Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
If you’re looking for a dog park in Duluth, Minnesota, Observation Dog Park is a convenient downtown spot offering fenced play spaces and gorgeous views of the bay. The park features two separate fenced-in areas for both large and small dogs to roam off-leash safely. Although modest in size and a bit run-down, it’s a welcoming site for dogs to burn energy while owners take in the scenery. Benches are available so you can relax while your pet plays.
There’s no on-site parking, so prepare for a short walk along busy roads to get there. The park provides poop bags, a shovel, and water bowls for your pet’s comfort, but you’ll need to bring your own water as there are no water spouts. While usage is free and entry is open year-round, keep in mind the park can get crowded quickly and is mostly gravel. Overall, it’s a pet-friendly getaway in Duluth, especially if you want a quick visit with beautiful lake views.
Scary neighborhood, abandoned field to the place. Can you get a picture people doing drugs here at night so be careful of needles.
Great place to take a dog – I must have went on a good day cause I didn’t see any needles or hoodrats.
No parking so you will have to walk your dog over there, careful it’s s busy main road. No water spouts. No grass in the dog runs. Small dog run isn’t even worth the bother it’s way to small. The whole place is very ran down. It’s sad. Is fenced.
Vey small. Just about big enough to play fetch. Would get crowded quickly. Great views over the lake and handy for being so close to downtown. Picture is one end to the other.
Everything you need…separate fenced in areas for large and small dogs, poop bags available and a shovel, water bowls, benches, free entry. Plus it has a beautiful view of the bay! Our dog loved it. Not too bad as far as poop on the ground. Users just need to be more “hands on” 😏 with their dogs doo doo just like in any dog park. We visited in winter and would come again. Met a friendly dog owner who loves this park too.
