Can park by the Baseball field close to the Bridges or in Martins Paarking lot. Have to walk a block or so to get there on a trail.

Was very lovely, peaceful, and quiet.

Could have some upkeep to the scenery as there’s litter everywhere across the river that wasn’t very beautiful.

Otherwise Maggie and so had fun!

Beautiful and well kept, with water for people and dogs. Google Maps wasn’t helpful but if you park behind Martins Grocery or behind Showers Field you can walk to it easily on the paths or foot bridges. Very clean!

Hopefully this review will reverse a previous negative review from another reviewer. The dog park is great and yes dogs are allowed off leash in the fenced in area as the sign at the actual park states. To get to the park a walk on the beaver meadow trail is needed which does require leashes dogs. I have never had issues with other dogs in either place. Everyone has been very friendly and in my experience all the dogs have been under owner control when outside the fence.

We’ve been wanting to visit this park for awhile because it’s fenced in and offers more than our usual park. It’s a 20-30 minutes drive for us one way.

It clearly states on the sign that your pet must be on a leash at all times & it must be no longer than 6’. A dog approached me, my boyfriend & my dog along with 2 other dogs because he got loose. The guy wasn’t in too big of a hurry to get his dog & thankfully our dog is well behaved. After he got his dog under control instead of taking him home for his behavior, he proceeded to take him to play..so, we left.

If you can’t be responsible and follow the rules to protect yourself & others, don’t bother showing up. It’s disrespectful and that’s the exact reason people don’t take their animals out.

Very nice, secure, and secluded. It can be separated into two large areas or just be one big one via gate. It is empty 90% of the time we’ve went so it’s great for dogs who just want to run around and play in a large enclosed area without any other dogs around. Our dogs love going!
