Rudolphi Wildlife Refuge

Rudolphi Wildlife Refuge offers a quiet and scenic experience with over 11 miles of connected trails featuring forest, wetlands, and river views. The trails are well-groomed, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly on leash. It is great for hiking and short walks surrounded by beautiful trees, moss, and unique natural features. While the area is not accessible for handicapped visitors and has no formal facilities, it provides a peaceful natural setting with hills and a lake for families and dog owners.

Short trails, wide and well groomed. Great for a quick walk in the woods (but we never did see the hula dancers)
Nice trails and lots of beautiful trees with moss and unique features.
Just a small little trail area. It is nice though. Well taken care of, quite, very easy to walk with children, and a nice lake in the middle.
Went here for a trail run. Trails aren’t marked, decent elevation at times, nice scenery. Not bad for a short run/hike. 3.5 mi loop.
Took a drive down to Cass county this evening to Dowagiac to visit the Rudolphi Wildlife Preserve and meandered onto the SMC Roadrunner trails as well. Combined between the two trail systems which are connected there’s over 11 miles of trails that include forest, wetlands, and some river views.the Rudolphi Preserve has an amazing canopy and is a great place to see a variety of shrooms. Loons and Herons as well as various ducks can be seen in the river and ponds. There are a lot of hills here so definitely not for the faint of heart. Kid friendly, dog on leash friendly, not handicap accessible and no facilities.
