The trail is awesome in every respect and that’s why there are 5 stars. The TH leaves a lot to be desired. No services of any kind and parking for 4 vehicles.

Amy Red

The trail from rt 800 is in need of some TLC. Downed trees and lack of trail maintenance is a real issue.

Aimer From Orkney

Trail has several fallen trees/deadwood across the path making it difficult for bikers & hikers with trolleys.

The trail itself is nice, the only real downside is the parking for the trailhead is significantly worse than the other ones that are along the path. It’s off the state route and can fit only a handful of cars.
Otherwise the trail itself is nice, and can view the old locks for some history.
